How does ComEd net metering work now?
As of January 1, 2025, new ComEd solar customers receive supply-only net metering / Smart Solar Billing. Export credits are at avoided cost, not full retail. Legacy customers are grandfathered.

ComEd is in Illinois Shines Group B. REC pricing and block availability differ from Group A (Ameren/MidAmerican). We ensure your system is properly registered for maximum REC value.
